    Numicon 5 is a full and rich programme that takes 2 years 

  • Phase 3

    Numicon 5 Numicon 5 is completed with the higher demand of the NZC taking the learning from the previous year and developing the concepts further and deeper.

    For mixed-level classrooms follow the sequences in these files

    Numicon 1 and 2 (Years 2 and 3) Editable version

    For students beginning with Numicon as Year 7's or 8's

    For the students are still at the old Level 1 and 2, Use the Numicon Intervention Programe first.  This will enable them to jump into Numicon 3 and onwards...
    Follow this suggested sequence beginning each week with Numicon 4, then extension into Numicon 5 and 6.  The sequence is likely to continue from Year 7 into Year 8, or for Year 8's into Year 9

    For your first year, we recommend that you follow one book and reach into the books above and below for differentiation
    At this level, you will have a wide range of ability.  Your top flyers may want to continue on their journey from previous years.
